These are weighty back leads designed to be attached to the main line after casting. The simple design makes them easy to use; just remove the inner sprung clip, place over the line and insert back into the body of the lead. The centre bore of the lead is of a cone like design which allows the clip to come free in the event of snagging or tangling, just by applying steady pressure.
The leads have a large surface area and wide base to ensure that they don’t shift unnecessarily underwater and pin the mainline to the bottom. Available in 1oz or 2oz varients, the back leads are priced from £2.50-£3.00 and are supplied in pairs on distinctive Rig Marole display cards.
