I’ve only recently got into carp fishing and, with a limited budget, I’ve had to buy carefully. When I began pricing up bed chairs, I was shocked – some of them were crazy expensive. How anyone can justify spending £200-plus on one is beyond me. So when I came across the Carp Kinetics Bed at £50 from Dragon Carp Direct, I had to have it.
To be totally honest, at that price I wasn’t expecting a lot. But what I received was a lightweight bed that is both strong and stable. I’m nearly 6ft and when I lay out on it there’s loads of room and the padded head section gives plenty of comfort.
I’ve been using mine for odd over-nighters throughout the autumn and winter and I’ve always had a good night’s kip – too good when the alarms have been silent!
Oh, and I nearly forgot. The CK Bed comes with a free sleeping bag, too. It’s rated at a spring/summer warmth so I’ve not used it on the bank yet. But on inspection it has a full length zip so you can leap out of bed easily and it measures 180cm x 75cm.
To get the pair for £50 is simply unbelievable.
