We’ve been a fan of the Savage Gear page on Facebook for some time now and are constantly impressed by their photographs.
The camera never lies, so they say, and Savage Gear post up no end of fantastic trophy shots of lure-caught fish.
Not all of them are pike, either, as it seems that their lures attract just about everything that swims, including perch, zander, cod and halibut. Yes, HALIBUT!

The photos are generally from across Europe and seem to be from Savage Gear consultants, as well as from satisfied customers.
We noticed a couple of pike in this first batch with funny rubber tails hanging out of their mouths….it seems that the Real Eel really is proving irresistible.
A soft-bodied lure that is fished on a jig (which, we believe, is provided when you buy the body), this lure really does look realistic. It comes in a range of colours, ranging from one that is a pretty-near perfect representation of an eel as we know it, through to the vivid Firetiger colours that lure anglers may be familiar with.
We’ve seen 20cm, 30cm and 40cm lures available on eBay.
