Catch Reports; Goose Green: Simon & Colin Parker aged 9 & 7 years old respectively, fished Lake 3 at Goose Green with Grandparents Ray & Sandy Emery, Simon fishing a margin pole caught 6 carp to 7-4-0 on pellet hook baits fished over loose fed pellet, Simon also lost a carp, Colin fished the ledger with the assistance of his Grandfather, Colin caught a couple of carp to 4-0-0 plus bream & skimmers , Picture of Simon Parker with his 7-4-0 Carp below.
Adam Tester fished New Pond at Goose Green, fishing with just the top kit from his pole with pellet on the hook, Adam put together a highly respectable net of fish for 22lb.
Moor Farm: Mick Booth, Ron & Bill Hill fished the top lake at Moor Farm and caught over 150lb of crucians and tench caught between them, all fished the pole at 3 or 4m with pellet or corn baits, their catch comprised tench to 2lb and crucians to 1lb. A good days fishing makes a pleasant change from carp bashing!
Adam Tester has been out and about again (alright for some), fishing with just his top kit on the top lake at Moor Farm, Adam put together a net of Tench & Crucians that took three weighs to get his final weight of 70lb, in Adam’s own words, “..all on my top kit! – brilliant”
Work Parties: For the benefit of those who wish to come and help “the few”, we hold working parties at Goose Green every Saturday, starting at 0900hrs, all assistance gratefully accepted, even if you can only spare an hour – as the television advertisement states “Every Little Helps…..”
Angling Training: Pulborough AS offer a comprehensive training scheme to those who wish to take up angling as a sport/pastime, we offer three levels of training from novice to advanced, further information is available on our website http://www.pulboroughas.com or from the Society Training Officer ” Steve Moulding”, who can be contacted on 07762 019636.
The training scheme offered by Pulborough AS is highly successful, with some of our former pupils now representing the Society in matches at both regional and national level.
