Goose Green
Sunday 14th October saw a number of people at Goose Green, fishing Lake 4, were Mark & Gavin Tester, both anglers presented maggot hook baits on the pole, Gavin caught Perch & Skimmers, whilst Mark on the opposite bank caught a a succession of Skimmers along with a few better Bream.
New Pond saw regular Les Taylor, Les fishing bread presented under a waggler rig, caught Roach, Rudd & Crucians, although he did say bites were at a premium, Lake 2 saw Ray Clark fishing the pole with maggot over pellet feed, Ray caught an absolute shed full of small Skimmers, a few Perch and the odd small Carp, also on Lake 2 was Mark Emery, Mark who was also fishing the pole with maggot, caught a steady succession of small Carp to 1-8-0, Crucians, Rudd, Roach, Perch, Bream & Skimmers for a total net of 15-3-0.
Ray & Sandy Emery fished lake 4 at Goose Green on the 11th October, Ray fishing the straight lead with maggot on the hook, caught Perch, Skimmers, Roach & Rudd for an estimated net of 8-8-0, Sandy fishing the waggler, also with Maggot on the hook, caught Skimmers, Bream, Gudgeon, Roach, Rudd & Perch for a net of over 10lbs

If you visit Goose Green, you will notice a “rustic” fence has been erected over the overflow pipes between Lakes 2 & 3, this fence has been erected to deter people from walking over the area and causing erosion of the bank, please use the paths provided.

Fished at Moor Farm on the Bottom & Middle lakes by 19 anglers who caught a total of 223.73 kg (493 lb 4 oz).
1st Adam Tester (peg 6) 34.62 kg (76 lb 5 oz) 21 carp to 8 lb, pellet feeder.
2nd Brian Miller (peg 3) 27.07 kg (59 lb 11 oz) 22 carp to method & pellet.
3rd Tom Page (peg 5) 23.3 kg (51 lb 6 oz)16 carp to method and maggot.
4th Anthony Parker (Peg 11) 18.25 kg (40 lb 4 oz).
5th Barry Ginnaw (Peg 1) 17.5 kg (38 lb 9 oz).
6th Mick Booth (peg 2) 14.98 kg (33 lb).
