Moor Farm
Martin Sutton fished the Bottom Lake at Moor Farm on the 27 September, Martin advised in his mail that the mist was drifting over the water but still fish were moving on the surface. Martin caught on both small pellet with a method feeder and also floating baits (chum mixer and bread), and had a strong take and the fish sped off across the lake, Martin who was only fishing with his light rod battled the fish for 10 minutes before it finally came to the bank and he managed to net it, the result a new personal best; a Mirror Carp of 15lbs 8ozs. It was taken on 2 chum mixer biscuits hair rigged and attached to a controller float.
Several more fish were caught during the morning but nothing approaching the size of the Mirror.
