The Pike Anglers club of Great Britain is pleased to announce that Leicestershire is the latest area to have an active branch of the club after Pike angler and fishery owner Chay Jackson agreed to set up and run the chapter as regional officer.
A very proud Chay explained, “I have been a pike angler all my life and to be approached and asked by the PAC to run the Leicestershire branch is a massive honour.”
Chay recently moved to the area after many years of running fisheries and being a full time angling coach and as he explained he was shocked when an area with so many fabulous pike waters was devoid of a PAC voice.
“Considering the size of the county and the sheer volume of good quality Pike fishing, I was amazed when I was told by a colleague on one of my pike angling coaching courses that the area wasn’t covered. To be honest I mentioned that I wouldn’t mind doing it and the next thing I know, I get the call!”
Chay intends to organise fish-ins and speaker nights as well as meetings in the Leicester area and PAC members who wish to join the Leicester PAC (LPAC) should call Chay or email on the details provided.
