Bob James was at the Beckerings Reservoir near Flitwick fishing overnight at the venue for the first time and tempted a 21lb 3oz (pictured below) mirror on an A2D sweet plum pop up with a Cell stick.
Kevin Chadfield fished Woodlands Lake where he caught 5 carp, a bream and a 3lb tench which is the first one reported so far this year from this prolific tench water. Other anglers at Woodlands are catching plenty of roach to 10oz along with regular bream. Alot of the excess water that had flooded the platforms has now been pumped out so that most swims are fishable again.
The next two workparties are at North House lake on Saturday 13th March where a stone path will be created to the new gate. The following workparty will be at Beckerings Reservoir on 21st March to rebuild 2 platforms.
