Following on from the theft from the Woodlands container Luton AC are asking that anyone with any spare tools eg spades, shovels, hammers etc that they would like to donate to the club should contact me Steve Sharp on 07704462635 and I will pass your details on to the Fisheries Management Team to arrange collection. Anything would be gratefully received as most of the clubs vital equipment has been lost.
On the adjacent South Lagoon sport has been excellent with Stuart Briggs fishing peg 3 netting Zander of 15lb, 9lb 4oz, 8lb 2oz and 8lb on roach and bleak deadbaits, Robert Harding managed lots of bream to 7lb during his trip on feeder fished sweetcorn and red maggot but was shocked when an 18lb pike took a liking to his bait. Plenty of carp are being caught from the South Lagoon, Eric Jones used his own Red Eric Baits on peg 1 to tempt commons of 24lb 8oz, 23lb 4oz, 17lb 4oz and 16lb 10oz along with a fully scaled mirror of 18lb 8oz. Chris Beale fishing peg 28 banked a 22lb 3oz common. Many bream are being caught with fish to 7lb+ and last season it produced Zander to 16lb+. This water can be fished on day and night tickets with details and prices on the web site.
Scott Larman fished Beckerings Reservoir where he caught The Linear at 27lb 2oz and a small common. At the same venue John Forsyth landed an 8lb pike and 16lb 13oz common with Steven Duffy having mirrors of 11lb 10oz and 19lb 2oz caught on home made boilies.
At Beacons Mount Farm Lake which Luton AC members can fish Gareth Dawkins caught mirrors of 24lb and 26lb on Starmers Coconut Fish boilies.

Luton AC fished at Browning Tingrith Cherry Lake on Sunday 26th September where a sudden cold spell kept weights lower than expected. Pole fished pellet was the top tactic:
1st Pete Currell Jnr 41lb

Beacon AC fished section 15 at Pitstone on Sunday 3rd October and the fishing was as dire as the weather:
