With effect from 1st January 2013, insure4sport has been announced as the official insurance partner of the Angling Trust. The insure4sport partnership offers Angling Trust members cheaper, yet more comprehensive insurance, cutting the cost of combined membership subscription and insurance premium by about 10% compared to 2012 prices. Underwritten at Lloyd’s of London, the insure4sport policies also provide excellent financial strength and security. Moreover, the insure4sport policies do not require your club to have a constitution, to reveal personal financial details of committee members, or appoint a Heath & Safety Officer – all requirements of the previous insurer.

For the last three years, the Angling Trust have offered members an optional discounted liability insurance scheme via brokers Perkins Slade. The new insurance cover provided by insure4sport will be automatically in place as soon as the member club’s existing liability insurance policy naturally expires on or after 1st January 2013 until their Angling Trust renewal is due in 2013.
