Redeveloping the industry leading Greys Streamflex rod wasn’t easy. The new rod is still designed for the most technical and demanding of light line anglers but we’ve improved the Streamflex’s legendary smoothness and in -hand balance with totally redesigned blanks and custom fittings as well as adding additional specialised sizes to meet the advancing demands of today’s technical angler.
All new, in house designed aerospace grade alloy reel fittings with stunning maple burl wood spacers, section line up marks and Greys custom composite tipped handle combined with the new advanced blank design results in a light line rod range that we believe can’t be matched.

XF2 Streamflex Plus
The changing conditions on stream often require the angler to carry two rods to rapidly take advantage of fleeting opportunities; the Greys XF2 Streamflex Plus, with its patent pending extension system, offers two rods in one for the modern river angler.
The extension system allows a sharp, accurate 9ft6 dry fly rod to be transformed into a 10ft long nymph fishing weapon in seconds – mid-river and without having to rethread the line.
A perfectly balanced 6 inch extension section is securely held within the butt section of the rod until needed, when it can be deployed in seconds. XF2 Carnivore
Developed with huge reserves of power in the butt section to give excellent lifting power and a powerful mid section to help set the hook in the tooth-laden jaws of a Pike or halt those first ballistic dives for the kelp and weed beds from fish that have a serious attitude problem.
A fast recovering tip action enables huge baitfish imitation to be cast long distances or accurately flicked into thick reed beds when stalking the margins. This special blank is paired with Greys’ new in house design reel seat, section line up marks and a composite tipped handle to give you a package that will have the beasts of the deep running scared.
