It won‘t be long before carp begin to feed off the surface and when they do the new and improved Enterprise Tackle Imitation Dog Biscuits ought to be in every angler’s armoury.
The original design proved to be a massive hit with savvy carpers who wanted all the benefits of a buoyant bait without the hassle of using the real thing.
But the boys at Enterprise – who are famed for their attention to detail – have made the 2014 version even better, adding brilliant new features that will help put more fish on the bank.
Enterprise boss Chris Hornsby explained: “We are continually innovating and always looking to improve our products. With that in mind, we’ve made a couple of key alterations to what was already a very popular product to make it even better.
“The new biscuits are not only smaller, which reflects what top carpers like Enterprise consultant Frank Warwick wanted, but they are also much more stable in the water, thanks to the tapered design.
“A split-shot counterweight added into the base inverts the biscuit so that the hook sits on top above the waterline, out of view from any wary carp.
“But the really clever thing we’ve done is add a zig foam insert that doesn’t only ensure extra buoyancy, it can be soaked in flavour before fishing to add extra attraction.
“I’m sure once people try them, they’ll see the advantages and these will become even more popular than the originals.”
Another new product from the Enterprise Tackle team are Imitation Sinking Casters. The buoyant versions have already accounted for some of the UK’s biggest tench and bream catches and these will provide another key weapon in the specimen angler’s arsenal.
