The final Angling Trust RiverFest qualifier for 2015 was held on the River Nene at March on Sunday 1st November.
48 competitors turned up for the qualifier in bright and sunny conditions with the top 12 all having 10 lbs plus.
Individual results;
1st Dave Cooper 12 lbs 1 oz Peg 1 at West End Park –roach and skimmers on bread.
2nd Danny Mason 11 lbs 14 ozs -rudd on waggler, 2 eels and a perch on the worm line.
3rd Reece Hearn (Bills Tackle) 11 lbs – roach and skimmers.
Joint 4th Stuart Northrop and Nigel Bull (Shakespeare) 10 lbs 13 ozs
6th Andy Moss (Browning Hotrods) 10 lbs 9 oz
Qualifiers are;
Zone 1 – Dave Cooper
Zone 2 – Danny Mason
Zone 3 – Andrew Moss
The grand final will take place on the River Wye at Hereford over the weekend of 14th/15th November. Spectators will be welcome to watch the final, free of charge and there will be a bookmaker present on both days for competitors and public to have a flutter.
