We always advocate responsible angling here at Anglers’ Net. That includes not just making sure you have the right tackle for the job and know how to care for your quarry, but also ensuring that you respect the laws of the land and only fish where fishing is allowed.
Obviously, we’re not going to check up on you. What you do, ultimately, is your own business and, anyway, other people can do the checking if they want.
There is quite a bit of ‘free fishing’ in the UK, but when that is not available it usually means that you have to join a club or cross a farmer’s palm with silver.
BEWARE! It would appear that some of these farmers are taking a tough approach to ticket-dodgers and have recruited some new no-nonsense bailiffs. Cross them at your peril!

P.S. As you will have seen by now, this was just a fun post, made to brighten up a dreary Monday morning. Animals don’t really assault anglers…do they?
