For some reason, The Sun published a ‘story’ about this clip today, although it appears to be over 18-months old, at least. Must be a slow news day…
Anyway, it’s well worth watching. I have no idea how easy it would be to catch a tarpon by hand intentionally, but I imagine pulling a fish that size in by hand isn’t particularly easy and not that good for the fish, so it certainly isn’t recommended. This guy seems to have found a way of accidentally catching one, though, and it must have scared the life out of him!
If you have sensitive hearing, it may be worth turning the volume down. One lady appears to be quite excited by the whole event.
