These stoves are great. I’ve got one and it has given me years of service. Although I bought it mainly for my carp fishing, I mentioned it to a friend the other day when he asked about a suitable stove for his boat. This one is ideal, as it flat, wide and, therefore, very stable. I do use a few different stoves, depending on the circumstances, but this is the first one that came to mind when I thought of stability. It’s also got its own in-built ignition system, so there’s no messing about with matches or lighters.
The cartridge used is readily available from any camping shop. In fact, supermarkets often sell them, too. It’s the ‘aerosol’ style can.
Lathams sell a lot of cheap fishing tackle and, at the time of writing, are selling this stove at just £9.98. It’s well worth considering. CLICK HERE to see if they have any left.
Perfect for “getting your grill on” while away from a properly equipped kitchen, it is compact and lightweight for easy transportation and storage. Simply pop in a butane canister, close the canister cover, turn on the gas and hit the ignition. This stove could not be easier to operate.
