I’ve no idea when it was launched, but do remember seeing it a lot when I was a youngster….far too many years ago!
Well, I was quite surprised to see that the slogan lives on in the form of these Shakespeare Happiness Is A Rod In Your Hand t-shirts that we spotted on eBay.
Angling ‘fashion’ seems to change at an incredible rate these days. Who’d have thought that so much of the clothing we wear on the banks these days would have become ‘urban streetwear’, too. However, a few things have stood the test of time, it seems, and that catchy old phrase from Shakespeare fishing appears to be one of them!
