If you’re looking to keep your maggots, casters, boilies, crabs, lugworms or just about any bait under the sun as fresh as possible, then vacuum packing them has got to be the way to go. Up until now, though, this was an expensive method. Thankfully, Avanti have changed that!
A couple of years ago, I bought an all-singing, all-dancing electric vacuum packer. It was a bit ‘overkill’ for my needs, but it was all that was really available. It uses rolls of bag material and you cut them down to size. Trouble was, those bags cost a fortune and I’d have to wait until I got home before I coul seal up any unused bait.
The Avanti Vac-Pac Bag Kit would have solved all my problems in one go. It’s cheap AND portable. Perfect.
All you do is pop your bait into one of the six bags provided (there are three different sizes), seal the lid, attach the mini-pump and pump until the air is gone.
SIMPLE, and with perfect bait ready for the fridge or freezer. Importantly, it’s the air that causes ‘freezer burn’ with a lot of baits, so this will now be avoided, giving you ‘fresh’ bait as soon as it’s defrosted.
