Webmaster Mark Emery, fished peg 47 on Kingfisher Lake at Goose Green on the 18th May, Mark alternating between the waggler and pole and using maggot on the hook caught 12 Bream, plus a succession of smaller Skimmers, Roach, Rudd & Perch for a net that tipped the scales at 30-0-0.
Deep Lake saw Dudley Chandler, Alan Chandler & Glen Riley fishing an impromptu knock up match, Dudley won the day with a net of 5-6-0 comprised of Chub, Skimmers & a few small silvers, caught on pinkies, Glens catch tipped the scales at 3-9-0 and comprised some of the lakes small Carp, Tench & a few small silvers all caught on maggot, Alan unfortunately did not catch.
Steve & Verity Ludlow made a welcome return to the bank on the 12th May, the pair elected to fish Deep Lake and despite a slow start, Steve was soon into the lakes population of small Carp and good sized Rudd, all fish were caught on meat presented under a light waggler set up.
